Middle School Youth Ministry
This Middle School ministry, consisting of the Focus on Youth (FOY) students in 6th and 7th grade and the 8th Grade Confirmation program, meets from September to April on Monday evenings from 5:30-7:15 PM for dinner, worship, a message and small group time. The 6th and 7th graders meet for a message in a combined group. Their adult leaders are using a curriculum called XP3.
Eighth grade confirmation students share the dinner and worship time with the FOY students and then meet separately for their first year of preparation for confirmation. (See the Confirmation link for more information about the 8th and 9th grade confirmation programs.)
A small group ministry model allows students time to discuss, process and explore their understanding of where they see themselves in God's story.
